Hey TERA Fans! Today I have some great news for our European members!

Not too long ago, we learned that Frogster Interactive would be publishing TERA in Europe. Almost immediately it became clear that the European community had tons of questions for the company. A day after the news, En Masse Entertainment gave a small Q&A, and later we saw an official community address by a Frogster representative but it's plain to see that you guys still have many more unanswered questions!

Today I got word that Frogster has agreed to do a small Q&A for TERA Fans, so I really want to hear your questions! I'd like to have some answers as soon as possible, so I'm going to begin compiling the Q&A tomorrow.

Post your questions for Frogster Interactive in this thread as soon as you can!

1. When will the European forums be up?

2. Are all European community members expected to participate primarily in the European forums or will their concerns be heard/able to be voiced at www.tera-online.com via En Masse as well?

3. How much fansite participation is Frogster/Tera-Europe.com expecting to provide? Currently, concerns voiced even at fansites are being heard by En Masse and they are continuing to provide exclusive interviews with many fansites (not just based in the US).

4. What are the three major things Frogster is planning to do to allay fears that the way they manage Runes of Magic and The Chronicles of Spellborn won't be how they're going to manage TERA?

5. Will FGT3 be launched separately in US/EU or will everyone participating be using the same client and receive their information from the same source (e.g. Tera-Online.com)?

Good call about Gamescon. I forget about that one since I live in the US. :)

I'm hoping that Europeans don't suddenly rush to Tera-Europe.com when it opens and leave nothing happening on the official or other fansite forums. At least in terms of numbers of people answer polls on the official forums, the Europeans definitely outnumber the US members.

Oh boy! :>

I got 2 questions for frogster that I'm concerned with.

- I'm a player who prefers to play with his North American friends. As known from previous MMO experience, some companies uses an IP ban in order to avoid Licensing issues between the companies. Will there be or is there a chance on an IP block, if so will you allow people to connect to the NA version of the game on request and only if they give valid reason and proof that their gaming world is over there? This might probably be a bit early to ask though.

- You spoke about restricting content, removing some content to lower the game age rate. How far will this go, my strongest concern is if the armors will be edited? If so, would there be a possibility to have special accounts that allows the game to enable 18+ content after all?
It might be a good solution for the many ppl that are concerned about this, having 2 different accounts one that allows 18+ content and one that doesn't.

I do think it's a bit of a joke for them to do a Q&A when they know full well from reading the thread over on the official forum what questions are most asked. So now people have to ask, again, and again and again.

That said, my question is quite simple:

Please will you tell us if there will there be IP blocks between the US and EU, thus preventing players with the US version of the game from playing on US servers, while located outside the US, i.e from Europe.

Thank you.

As a side note, it does strike me kind of weird that the En Masse logo is omitted from all Frogster TERA marketing material. Their versions show the Frogster and BHS logo. When really they should display all three, seeing as how En Masse & BHS are doing all the work and Frogster is simply the publisher in Europe.

If Frogster will fcking up TERA EU I will spam En Masse support with complains about Frogster support and I hope all will do, maybe BH will cancel their contract and change publisher for europe

My question is:

ARE YOU GOING TO WIN WITH HACKERS/BOTTERS/GOLDSELLERS - immediately block proxies and ban their account pernamently, ban their credit cards, IPs and more => (not 3 lives mode)

OR ARE YOU GOING TO FIGHT WITH THEM FOREVER? - 3 warns => 24h => 48h => 72h ban => 1 month ban => ok last chance => really last chance => BAN but if u sorry us we unban you...

3. is it possible that it will be a character creator pre-release?

What will be the differences between EnMasse's antibot-hacks campaign, and the Frogster's one? Are you planning to throw in any sort of external programm, or have you a team working in this sector?

Will european site be moderated by BHS and Frogster together?

Will european servers use the channel system to prevent lag on release day?

Have you a general idea of how many changes (if there will be any) will be implemented in the european version? like removal of blood ecc... If so, will these changes affect only the legislated country or all the europe?

Will we see news and events in the european forum, such as FGTs announcements, community events, or news in general?

And (that's not a critique just mere curiosity) will the moderator activity on the EU forum be more intense than now on the US forum?

Will we get events like they will get in the US?

Will they be the same events or will Frogster make their own events?

Will we have support 24/7 in game?

Perhaps you should re-read this thread, and then you would be less rude. TERA Fans asked for the opportunity to do a Q&A and they agreed. TERA Fans is asking for the questions.

Hi Frogster Team,

I am from Europe.
Do you prefer I buy an account NA and play on NA servers or I play another competitor game?

Hrm, let's see what I can come up with here...

1) As aforementioned, if censoring is going to be implemented, will this cover all versions of the EU version as a whole- i.e The UK has different censorship laws compared to Germany. Does this mean no matter where you live, the EU version will be one and the same?

2) What are your policies going to be in regards to RMT/Botting/Hacking/In-game misconducts, and how sternly will this be done?

3) Will there be full in-game support/customer services both in and out of 'work hours'? (24 hour support..? active GMs)

I simply think that Frogster should've taken the time to issue some answers to the many questions that have been posted on the official forum since the announcement was made... then they can offer a further Q&A with TERA Fans. I can see why they are doing it this way, but whatever.

In the end wherever the answers come from, they will be much needed answers to overly asked questions.

And I was not being rude, it's difficult to hear tone of voice when reading text.

1 - Is Frogster expected to act in the same capacity for EU as En Masse does for NA?
I would like to know what expectations Frogster carries as it relates to implementation. Do they have the same duties and responsibilities in EU that En Masse shoulders for NA and are they independant of themselves, answering only to BHS?

2 - What specific things can people expect done better by Frogster with regards to perceptions that many players have about Frogster's customer service and it's poor quality, account security and poor server performance?

3 - Now that Frogster has been retained for the EU market, what delays can be expected for testing, betas and game launch while Frogster ramps up?
