Awesome? Undoubtedly. Work-hours-intensive? Also undoubtedly.
A standalone "character creator" would definitely provide players an opportunity to explore the vast range of options of TERA's character customization. However, developing and producing such an application would pull resources from actually working on TERA itself. Furthermore, we are continuing to improve upon character customization: it is not in a finished state.
Although this is feature would undoubtedly be popular, it's something we'll have to hold off on considering until closer to launch.
